Meet Kathryn

“I want to thank you for everything and being so kind to me. There’s not too many people like you in this world. I am truly grateful for One Life at a Time. It has helped me feel supported and confident and ready to take the next step in my career.”

“I have nothing but good things to say about “One life at a time.” I have learned so much I was unaware how things have changed in the workforce. To begin, I had no idea that most resumes are read by computers. My resumes were historically two pages long and did not contain the buzzwords that the computers picked up. No wonder I wasn’t getting responses. I also appreciated learning about the in”s and outs of Indeed. I have since filled out the assessments and narrowed down my work search. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and professional. At this point I feel very confident going for a job interview. My job coach spent time after class working with me on specific job opportunities and providing me with individual coaching. I did the program virtually but was made to feel that I was in the classroom. All my needs were attended to promptly. I highly recommend these services to anyone. I was provided with a wealth of knowledge that I will share with my friends and family. I am so grateful that these services were available. Keep up the good work and thank you very much.”

Meet Anne

“One Life at a Time offers great resources to those who are unsure or insecure taking the next step forward in their life. Before this program, my resume scared and intimidated me beyond what words could describe. The career counselors gave me direction, and helped me build my confidence in moving forward on a positive path. The people here genuinely care about you and your future. I wouldn’t ever in a million years thought I would feel this ready and confident in putting my name and resume out there the way I do now. I owe a huge thank you to everyone at One Life at a Time. I look forward to the future with you guys.”

Meet Rose

“I was pleasantly pleased with all the material covered in this program. All the presenters were upbeat, positive, and sincerely happy to be there teaching us. I was extremely grateful to have my resume “tweaked” and updated. During this “COVID” time, access to resources are almost non-existent. This opportunity was a blessing.”

“Before I came to One Life at a Time, I was lost. Honestly, I thought I wouldn’t even land an interview in a phase of my life where I had to make a career change and have had many different jobs, but no career. Keisha and the other career coaches have all given me the ability to believe in my skills and has built my confidence with my approach in the mock interviews. Being educated in the many phases of landing a job from Resumes, Networking, Interviewing, and actual job search has landed me interviews in the area I am going in to. I am going to make it a point to check in and take advantage of this amazing opportunity. Thank you so much.”
